About Me

Having competed at the highest level myself, I understand first-hand the dedication, discipline, and physical demands that Irish dancing requires. When I was training and competing, much of the strength and conditioning now recognised as essential simply wasn’t part of standard dance training. I had to seek out that knowledge myself — learning how to train properly, prevent injury, and develop the athleticism needed to perform consistently at an elite level.

That experience is what led me to become a personal trainer. Today, I specialise in working with Irish dancers, providing tailored strength and conditioning programmes that complement dance training rather than compete with it.

Competitive dancing

I am a World Champion Irish dancer, having won all the major titles throughout my competitive career. I began dancing at the age of three, competing through every level until achieving my ultimate goal — winning the World Championship globe in Senior Ladies.

Along the way, I experienced both the highest highs and the toughest lows, I moved away from home to train, a journey that demanded independence, sacrifice, and commitment. These experiences shaped not only my dancing career, but also my resilience and understanding of what it truly takes to succeed at competitive Irish dancing.

Touring

Following my competitive career, I went on to tour globally with Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, and A Taste of Ireland in which I performed the leading lady.

Touring allowed me to travel the world and perform on some of the biggest stages internationally, and it was incredibly special to share those moments with friends and family in the audience. After years of competitive dancing, it was a privilege to transition into professional performance — doing what I loved, performing at the highest level, and proudly calling it my job.

Coaching

I began coaching Irish dancers during the final years of my own competitive career and made the transition to full-time coaching in 2022. What started as a small number of weekly 1–1 clients quickly grew into the team I work with today, and I’m now proud to have a large waiting list of dancers eager to train with me.

I’ve coached dancers to the top of the podium, supported them through their grades, and helped them build the strength, conditioning, and athleticism required specifically for Irish dancing — an area most personal trainers will never fully understand. Irish dancers are built differently, and their training needs to reflect that. My coaching is designed around the unique demands of the sport, ensuring dancers train smarter, stronger, and with purpose.

I offer 1-1 training, online programmes, group sessions, and workshops globally.
